The return of the double LO.

Double layouts seem to be making a comeback in my house at the moment...I have no idea why! I think I'm liking the extra space that comes with doubles...more room for the story, more room for lots of photos.

Here is my latest one...

I HAVE REMOVED THE FULL VIEW OF THIS LAYOUT TEMPORARILY IN ORDER TO MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT...WATCH THIS SPACE :)

It's a new month, and so I've posed some more challenges over at Scrapsidaisy to keep everyone busy. Confession time...I had this LO on my desk when I was thinking of the challenges, so have a little headstart.

Challenge 1: Use a 12 x 12 diecut on your LO ...tick

Challenge 2: Create a LO with at least 5 photos...tick

Challenge 3: Create a LO with a photo of yourself as a child.

Challenge 4: Scraplift a LO of one of your favourite scrapbookers (and make sure you give credit)
Challenge 5: Use your favourite ink on a LO and tell us what it is.

ok...so I cheated! Here are some detail shots...

I've used a Crate Paper diecut from the Lillian range (available at Scrapsidaisy)
and lots of October Afternoon Cherry Hill and Ducks in a Row. The trim is by Anna Griffin, and alphas by Heidi Swapp(from ages back).
I love those cute little ducks!

I've also completed another block from Christmas Belles...

It's getting closer to being finished now, only a couple of blocks left to stitch.

Do I jinx myself and say it might even be finished for Christmas this year? No...had better not :)

I have to let everyone know that your hand stitching is so beautiful that my friend and I (both part time quilters) actually thought that it was done by machine. And yes you will have it done by Christmas so that you can work on the aqdvent calendar.
