Matryoshka Angel

Have you checked out Rosalie Quinlan's new book yet? It has some of the cutest designs for cushions and dolls and bags and....you get the idea :) Picking a project to start on was difficult, but I started simple...

This is a Matryoshka Angel. It's Scrapsidaisy's 4th birthday this month, so I thought the cow print would make a perfect little gift angel to celebrate. The orange and blue are the shop colours (or close enough to it, I'm hoping).

The back view is too cute :) These little angels are very addictive...watch this space!
The sun is finally shining after days and days of rain, so I'm off to enjoy it. Enjoy your Sunday, and thank you for visiting.

Hey Susan, hope you are well. Love the little doll. Between you and Linda I am so tempted to start sewing. When you get a moment can you please let me know where I can get those lovely fabric things you are showing.
Hope you are having a great Sunday.
Love me :-)

I am glad you explained the colour choice or else i would have thought that you need a holiday. I love the button on the back to hang it from. (I had heaps of trouble hanging my Debbie Mumm ones) but this looks fantastic. Yep will have to get that pattern and add it to the list of to do's
