Bags, bags, bags...

...are very useful things!

Seems like I've been making a few bags recently...well, they are very useful things, especially made in laminated fabric like the one I made this morning.

I've had this Rosalie Quinlan Grandmothers Flower Garden laminate in my stash for a while, with great plans for a swim bag for Lydia. I used a pattern from Roslaie's book A Stitch In Time, with a few minor adjustments, and voila! Finished before breakfast this morning!

Isn't it amazing what a bit of momentum can do? hee hee...bet you thought I'd forgotten all about my one little word for this year :)

Have a fan-tabulous Monday!

Hi Suz~
I love this bag! The fabric is so pretty. I can see this slung over the shoulder, easy-peasy carring a book or two, a sweater and an apple, all of which sound like the making of a very nice afternoon, indeed.

Gorgeous oil cloth bag, especially being a Rosie fabric ;)
