Mint Julep on a Saturday

I'm all over my Mystery Block of the Month stitching so far...

...but then, this IS only  Block Two :)

It's called  Mint Julep and was designed by Lisa Bongean from Primitive Gatherings...and the colours make my heart sing! I'm loving having a totally pieced project on the go...they  take so much less time to put together than the stitched projects that I usually favour....and it's a nice change of pace ;)

You'd be correct in thinking that I have a lot of crafty projects happening at any given time (did you ever notice that? LOL) but that just seems to be the way I roll. Are you the same? Or do you focus on just one project at a time? Just wondering :)

A very pretty block. It is beautifully put together - you've done such a good job on it.

I have way to many projects on the go. I try to cut the number down but it never works so I am going with it now!

Suzi, such a gorgeous block, i admire the skill in piecing it all so perfectly! Like you, i have a few projects on the go at once, some long term & some quicker ones. But I try not to have too many, or else I get a bit stressed, & I don't want to have any more UFOs, i have many already!

I rather like this way of quilting, only a little cutting out each month. I have a table runner sitting on dining room chair for last two months waiting on another 240 triangles to cut, I tell ya and it's only a table runner. I hate cutting out.

I do like this block, the colors are pretty and it looks good all together like this. Can't wait to see the whole thing when done.

Having many projects on the go is fun and allows us different things to do depending on our moods and how much time we have at that moment.
Take care!!
