Easter Break :)

I raced the clock to get this square stitched and photographed today...sometimes there just aren't enough hours! I'm calling this one "Easter Break"...

...because today was the last day of school, and now my kids are all home for the Easter break which starts with Good Friday tomorrow, and then another two weeks. Many families use this holiday break to go camping...but not us! I'm not really a "camping kinda gal", but if I had a cute pink polkadot caravan, just maybe I would be! The outline all looks a bit wonky, but that's because of my hoop lines...they are quite straight in real life :)

This block didn't quite turn out as I imagined it would...but that happens sometimes. Details can be a bit tricky in such a very small area!
The image is adapted from a block in Anni Downs' book "A Family Gathering"...I just made it lots smaller, and stitched it rather than appliqued it :)

Now for some scrapping...

...patterned paperless scrapping, no less! I've run out of Sassafrass Nerdy Bird, and the colours were so perfect for this LO. So I used some hot pink ribbon, and some Nerdy Bird banner stickers , and called it good.

Try to imagine hot pink inking all around the edges...my photo was shockingly crooked today, so I cut it off in the pic :) The letter stickers are K&Co glitter and My Little Shoebox, and the background is Bazzill Swiss Dots (again...love that stuff!)
Happy Easter...it's almost here!

I love this block. You make it difficult to have a favorite. I think your camper is adorable. Now I want one to go camping in now.

I think a cute dotted camper like that would inspire me to camp also! Very very very cute.

I love the little camper! You are so talented. I have sketched out all of my squares, so I don't think any more of your designs are in danger of being poached, unless one of them absolutely calls to me...then I will scrap one of mine! I do have a storm cloud, though. Happy Easter!

Adorable caravan Susan and yes see I told you those stickers were must haves! I have resorted to using the negative parts of the stickers as well- it's all too cute to toss! Happy Easter to all! Oh and PS.. there were no camping mishaps..they just forgot half the tent..lol oh and the Nutella!

OMG! That was one of the squares I had planned!! I can't believe it! Mine is different though-- the trailer is going to be a "Teardrop trailer" and I'm going to do a truck instead of a car. OMG! I can't believe you beat me to it!! Yours is so adorable-- I love every little detail!
Hugs,
Jill

OOO I am LOVING THIS SQUARE!
I love every single thing about it! How could it be any better or cutter!?
I even love how the photo shows the square above... right above the camper... it just looks so FUN!
You are an excellent stitcher and scraper... as I fondly refer to photo pages.
