Live slow and bright-eyed boys :)

I couldn't resist stitching another spiral on my 39 squares project...the lollipop I did in the first week is still one of my favourites :)

So this time we have a snail, and a little reminder to me to slow down and enjoy life! With that in mind, we spent a leisurely afternoon browsing the shelves of a wonderful semi-local library, then found a divine little patisserie for afternoon tea. The perfect way to start the school holidays!

For some reason I am delving into some older photos to scrapbook lately...
...just look at this gorgeous little bright-eyed boy! I'm also trying to get through some of my older papers and embellishments...these papers are Making Memories Paperie, Making Memories Flower Patch and even some Chatterbox Scrapbook Walls!

Stitching, distressing and American Crafts Thickers, as well as Prima flowers and a touch of lace and ribbon to finish...and another baby photo out of the pile.
Hope you are having a great day,

Your snail is sweet - love the range of squares you are coming up with! Was it "Sugar and Spice" you went to? I took my kids there last holidays for afternoon tea - it is so hard to choose from the delicious range of goodies.

Your little snail is adorable! Yes, I've shocked myself actually be keeping up on this project... you've got a good excuse though if you started late!! I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my sampler, how about you?

I love your snail and the message of a slower pace. I tried to raise my children with that idea... time goes way too fast.
Such it is now, our stitching is almost complete! I wonder if Amy will have another "assignment" for us :)

I like this page for your son. It all fits so beautifully together!

Hugs,
Mary
