Hello Week 38...another fairly ordinary week in the life of us :)
It's now the first day of October, and I'm happy to say that I finally feel like I'm in a groove with this Project Life stuff. Pulling out my camera has almost become automatic (even if it IS the camera on my iPhone) and I don't seem to be scratching around for photos quite so much...which believe me, is a great thing!
I haven't run out of things to document either, which surprises me a little...I thought by October I would be struggling badly! Life with 3 kids is busy every day, and there always seems to be something going on...big things, little things, and everything in between :)
I find it interesting that a lot of PLers around blogland plan out their pages quite extensively...I am NOT one of these people :) I print my photos first to get a general idea of what colour papers I'll use and go from there. I usually print photos from my big camera at K-Mart (and make collages if I have lots of photos from the one event), and then print iPhone photos at home...sizing them to fit what pockets I have left in the page protectors.
I usually choose 2 sheets of co-ordinating patterned paper for the double spread, and other bits from my stash to finish off. This week I borrowed some great PTI stamps from Linda, and they are so so perfect for PL...I'm going to have to buy some very soon :)
Keeping it simple and using my stash seem to really work for me, and I love the variety of using different papers for each week...it keeps me interested :) Now that I've typed that sentence, I'm wondering if I really do need to order the new Olive Edition for next year? Probably not...but I DO love it so :)
How about you? Have you ordered a kit for next year yet? (Australian PLers can pre-order all the new goodies through Craft House in New Zealand)

What are PTI stamps
I love these colors for the week, so happy and bright. You did a great job on getting so many photos and filling all the pockets. I enjoyed reading about your process, sounds like a good plan and easy too.
I see you and others using so much from your stash and they look AMAZING, maybe you don't need PL. Would save you money and that's a good thing and helps to use up your stash. DECISIONS, DECISIONS??
I would pre-order if I could, hoping I'm home the day they arrive so I can start dialing ASAP!!
Good job keeping up and enjoying your PL.
Well I had to pull out a couple of my 12x12 albums last week and realised that I really really miss my big pages so I decided that I will not be doing PL next year.
Xx
Love your scrapbook pages, makes me want to get started on mine again .x
Beautiful spread, yet again. Great to see your process, and great that the photos are plentiful these days :)
