Whimsy Farm Twine Love :)

Today I've had the pleasure of playing with some beautiful twine from Whimsy Farm Twine, an Australian  business producing the cutest colour combinations of twine I have ever seen!

Twine is one of my favourite things...I use it for gift wrapping, for card making, for scrapbooking...it really is one of the most versatile products in my craft room! While I would love my collection to be a whole lot bigger, up until now the cost of twine produced overseas was enough to pull me up...but not anymore!

A 100 metre roll of Whimsy Farm Twine costs just $5, and postage is a flat rate of $8 to anywhere in Australia...and the packaging is rather cute too :)

Angie is always coming up with new colour combinations for her twine...choosing is the hardest part! I couldn't go past Annabelle, which is a combination of white, pink and turquoise...mmmmmmm yummy.

I used the list of everyday simple things from my blog post the other day to create a layout...makes for very easy journaling, and a great snapshot of life right now.The two large journal cards are from Snap Life by Simple Stories ;)

I used the twine to embellish some of the smaller details...it is a really nice weight to tie bows, not too thick!

Twine is a great way to add pops of colour onto your layout, and also to add continuity across your page...it's an easy way to tie all your embellishments together.

I am so thrilled to have finally sourced an affordable, quality, Australian made twine...now I had better go and hide my credit card ;)
