Cupcake and an Update!

A cupcake on my 39 squares sampler was predictable, don't you think?

Since I have now been stitching my little squares for two weeks now, I thought I'd show you a progress shot...

It sure is looking colourful! Do you have a favourite square?
Time to craft is eluding me lately (except for my squares, of course). Life is busy! Hoping to get back into some papercrafting soon...I have some beautiful new papers to play with, so inspiration isn't lacking...just time! Unfortunately, the storms look like they made it to the inside of my house LOL...don't you just hate housework?
Back to it...

All of your squares are so fun and lovely! I like your little bird bath. And I love the cake on the pedestal. Nothing can beat that sunshine for color! It is so much fun to see what other people embroider on their squares.

The hubs was looking at the slideshow of all the squares in flickr and he really liked your squares. He began to recognize your work!
Very nice square today!
I may have to borrow your spider idea for my garden themed sampler.
Don't know why I didn't consider it before. It is a traditional motif for crazy quilting... and I have done a bit of that in the past.

Have a good day!

I love them all. I have a thing for cupcakes, though. It is adorable. I have one drawn on my squares too. I have drawn mine on paper first. You are so creative!

Your sampler is looking beautiful! I know what you mean about the lack of time. I have two new stamp sets and the brand new Distrezz-it-All machine waiting for me to get to my papercrafting. I'm aiming for this weekend:) Here's hoping you find the time as well:D
