Farmers Wife - The Australia Day Edition

Happy Australia Day my bloggy friends!

No matter where in the world you live, your day today will be improved with the addition of lamingtons and Tim Tams...I guarantee it  :)

Working towards my goal of 10 Farmers Wife blocks for the month of January has been slow-going. I've had these ones cut out for over a week now, and had real problems finding the motivation to sew them. Only the realisation that the month is almost over, and I still have quite a few to make yet, got me moving (and a TimTam or two LOL)!

So here we have Block 93 Swallow...
...a quite subdued block, but I've almost run out of single-print options for my blocks.

Block 94 Tall Pine Tree...
...the photo colour is WAY off...there's always one photo that doesn't want to play nice ;)

Block 95 Temperance Tree...

...and the last block you'll see that orange spot fabric in, as I have run out :(

Right about now, I'm wishing I had gone in numerical order with these blocks, because that would mean I'm almost finished hahaha! Alas, no.

Hope you're out enjoying the sunshine, cooking a barbie, eating some lamingtons and having a cold bevie or two!

Well done you! They look great :)

No sunshine to enjoy here, just torrential rain that came in through our CLOSED windows. Sigh...

Great job getting them done, always helful to have some goodies nearby to help motivate you.

Today was filled with snow shoveling, grocery shopping, dressing in layers and boots and a double 2year old birthday party. It was so awesome! I did eat way to much food there, lol.

Happy Saturday!
