In her room...

Playing with paper and doilies and punches and pretty things is so much fun...I think I must've forgotten just how much fun :)

With Project Life, I try to have my photos printed at K-Mart each week...not that I would recommend K-Mart for photo printing at all, but they are my only local photo lab. Anyhoo, sometimes when I print my PL photos, I have a few extra photos done too, just in case I want to do some scrapbooking. In 2012, these photos piled up and piled up...but not this year. This year, they will be the photos I reach for when I make my 5 layouts per month :) Sound like a good plan?

I thoroughly cleaned and sorted my two girls' rooms last week (HUUUGE job), and took some photos while they were nice and tidy. I thought it would be nice to have a record of what their bedrooms look like now, as I'm thinking it won't be long before the Lalaloopsies and soft toys are replaced with...other not-so-cute things :)

I created the banner with a Stampin Up banner punch and a doily, and topped them with some vintage Prima flowers...remember those cute bottles that Prima released way back in the beginning?...and a Kaiser pearl. I got a little carried away with the machine stitching, but was loving the soft feminine touch it gave to the layout. The floral paper is Sweet Thoughts from the Floral Lane collection by Pebbles, and has a Bazzill-like texture...unusual, but yummy. The polkadots are from Echo Park Dots and Stripes Neopolitan Collection...yes, they have different collections of polkadot papers, and yes, I have several of those collections...SURPRISE! LOL :)

Feels good to be scrapping again ;)

A very, very pretty layout. Your little banner is so cute and clever.

Love the patterned paper in the background. Why is it whenever I see pretty paper now, I think "that would make a nice fabric"? LOL

This banner is just to dang cute, seriously LOVE IT!! The added flowers on it just make it even cuter!! Perfect thing for a girlie layout. THe colors and polka-dots are wonderful, such a pretty page.

Great pictures, I had no idea that you had a K-mart there. We had one 5mts away but now with Walmart in town it finally had to shut down adn I MISS MISS it so much. Now we have to drive half hour to the next closest one.

I need to keep up on my scrapping too, thanks for the inspiration and reminder!
