I thought I had better make my hubby's friend Dan a card for his 21st birthday (that's where we are headed soon) because he does occasionally read this blog, and his Mum is also a keen scrapper I believe, so I didn't think I could get away with a store-bought card!
I was told (!!!) to make it green, black and white, and not girly...hopefully I have achieved this.
I also put my hand up this week to choose a theme for Copycatcards, so have gone with "Lavender and Lace". I figured you could make it old-worldish like I have, or do something a little funky with some of the more modern laces you can pick up.
I've embossed the background Making Memories journaling page with the Cuttlebug, which is a little hard to photograph well...sorry about that. I also finally broke out some of my Stampin' Up stamps which I have had sitting in my cupboard, unmounted, for a while...oops.
If you've never had a go at cardmaking...why not try it? It's a great way to use up some of your stash :) and I'd love to see what you come up with.
Places to go, people to see....gotta go xxxx
