Keeping things simple, as per usual :) This seems to be the direction my scrapping is heading at the moment...telling the story rather than "making it pretty"...and I'm good with that.
And where is the stitching lately, I hear you ask? Good question. I'm still working on the Christmas ballet fairy block, and am nearly done, but the scrapping keeps getting in the way! Sooo.....I thought I'd share a photo of the quilt that I made for Lydia.
I finished it a couple of weeks before I started this blog. It was made from a Hatched and Patched book called "An Angels Story"...I chose all the fabrics etc, and it took me WAAAY too long to make. I had a long break from stitching for our first couple of years in Perth, and the quilt didn't see the light of day for many long months, but I finally pulled it out and finished it this year. Lydia loves it...she says that having it on her bed makes her feel like I am cuddling her all night, and that she is wrapped in love....aaawwwww. Makes it all worthwhile, really.
