So before it gets really hectic and I get caught up in the chaos that is the silly season (they don't call it that for nothing, do they? LOL) I thought I would get a little up-to-date with the happenings around here.
Being the first of December, I thought I'd do a little blog redecoration (and test out my computer skills at the same time hee hee)...what do you think? I'm thinking it's very festive, and I smile every time I look at all those polka dots :)
Last night the girls from Tomorrow's Memories had their annual Christmas party at the Inglewood Hotel...what a great night! It's so nice to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine with such lovely (and entertaining) company! Lots of laughs were had, lots of wine was consumed, and probably lots of eyebrows raised at the noise level coming from our table LOL! For all the pics, check out Kris' blog (link in the sidebar).
Jo, Vicki and Clori also surprised us with some gorgeous Christmas gifts...
...how beautiful is this teacup and saucer? So very me...well done girls, I LOVE it! I also received this stunning new Christmas decoration, which I couldn't wait to hang on my tree!
For the past few weeks I have been working on a mini-album for under the Christmas tree for my dear boy Riley. I love to make each of the kids something personal for Christmas, and thought that an album documenting his trampolining achievements for the year would be just perfect. I obviously didn't think it through very carefully LOL, because the whole album has had to be based around his club colours...black, white and jade green...which wouldn't be my choice of colours...eeek! These colours are in EVERY SINGLE PHOTO, so there was no escaping.
Thankfully, I found a paper from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie range which matched perfectly, so it turned out a whole lot nicer than I had originally expected!

For those of you that don't know...Riley bounces competitively, and it has been a pretty full-on year with training and competitions etc. I've blurred the faces in a couple of the following shots...but you get the idea.
I've given my MM Slice a real workout for this album, and couldn't be happier with it, really. I've cut shapes and alphas in all sorts of sizes, and different weights of cardstock and it has performed beautifully. Gotta love that!

That gets me up to date for now I think :)
Happy Monday
